BI Developer

We need someone to assist in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and semantic models that support business decision-making.

What you'll do

• We need someone to assist in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and semantic models that support business decision-making.
• Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain semantic models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI
• Build analytical reports and dashboards to present KPIs and business insights
• Utilize Git-integrated workflows within Microsoft Fabric for version control, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Apply best practices for report performance, including DAX optimization and efficient design
• Follow data governance, quality, and security standards
• Partner with analysts, developers, and business users to gather requirements
• Escalate complex design or performance challenges as needed
• Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and measure definitions

What we're looking for

• Essentials:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2+ years of BI or Data Analyst experience
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and star schema data models
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of DAX
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Understanding of business processes and KPIs
• Desired:
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
