Job Title: QA Tester

Job Description:          

  • Reviewing and analyzing software requirements or system specifications
  • Responsible for Test Panning, Designing and executing test plans on client Software Systems.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance (QA) activities throughout a project’s lifecycle, such as participate in reviews and demos, functional, integration, user acceptance, performance, security testing and reporting software defects or bugs to the development team.
  • Writing functional test scripts and conducting testing
  • Documenting the conducted testing and utilizing data & keyword driven techniques
  • Performing unit, regression, and load testing of software systems
  • Maintaining a software fix schedule
  • Software tester will perform both manual and automated testing using Industry standard tools and technologies.
  • They also interact with customers to understand the requirements of the system, participate in Agile/ Scrum project planning/ tasking, defining goals and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the final product meets the established Quality standards.


Education Required: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: 4 – 6 years related experience

Technical/Other Skills Required:

  • QA tester should have a minimum 3 years of experience with JMeter.
  • QA tester should be familiar with various software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall is crucial for QA testers to effectively collaborate with the development team and adapt to the project’s requirements.
  • QA tester should have knowledge on different testing techniques such as black – box, white box and gray – box testing, as well as various testing types including functional, non- functional, regression and performance testing.
  • QA tester should also be familiar with various tools such as Selenium, TestRail, Load Runner to help them efficiently execute test cases, manage defects and automate testing process.
  • Also have basic understanding of programming Language and coding concepts.
  • QA tester must be able to identify defects, analyze their root causes, and suggest possible solutions or workarounds.
  • Effective communication is essential for QA testers, as they need to clearly document and report defects, collaborate with developers, and convey complex information to non- technical stakeholders.
